The easiest way to book an online consultation is via WhatsApp — send a message to +91 99209 14932 and our team will confirm a time slot within a few hours. You can also call the clinic directly. Once confirmed, you will receive a video call link or we will call you at the scheduled time.
At present, Lord's Polyclinic operates on a direct-pay basis. However, we provide detailed receipts and prescription documents that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement under your outpatient benefit. Please check your policy's OPD reimbursement limits. We are working on cashless tie-ups and will announce updates.
An OPD consultation typically lasts 20–30 minutes for new patients and 15–20 minutes for follow-ups. Online consultations are usually 15–20 minutes. Dr. Vidya does not rush consultations — if your case requires additional time for discussion or examination, it is given. Complex cases or those with multiple conditions may take slightly longer.
Yes, for established patients whose condition is stable and well-documented, repeat prescriptions for chronic medications like antihypertensives, thyroid medications, or diabetes medications can be issued after an online consultation. New patients or those with a change in symptoms should visit in person for an initial assessment before online prescriptions are issued.
An emergency consultation is appropriate for sudden or severe symptoms such as high fever with altered mental status, chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, sudden swelling of limbs, very high or very low blood sugar, or any symptom that appears rapidly and is concerning. If you are unsure, call the clinic and describe your symptoms — we will guide you on the appropriate consultation type. For life-threatening emergencies, call 108 / 112 first.
A new consultation is ₹950. A follow-up visit within 7 days is free of charge, and a review within 15 days is ₹550. This applies to both in-clinic and online consultations. Please mention that it is a follow-up or review when booking.
Yes, medical certificates for sick leave, fitness-for-work, fitness-for-travel, and school/college absence can be issued after a consultation. The certificate is provided on official clinic letterhead with Dr. Vidya's stamp and registration number. Please inform reception at the time of booking that you require a certificate so adequate time is allocated.
